Non-Fluted 1986 Super Record Cranks (Strada) - $60 in Chicago
If you need the non-fluted versions, here you go... Worn, but I think hard to find. Can't tell if they're engraved or lasered.

Darn tempting. Note the slightly different shaping pattern used around the typical stress crack area.

I never really knew just how attractive it really is. It has really smooth cuves, and that aluminum would polish up great. Too bad you have to take your life into your own hands to even want to ride with one.

Raleigh Super Course & Sprite, plus a Schwinn le Tour at $100 each. A little too large and priced a bit high for my budget.

I don't thing the LE TOUR is a 26" bike as stated in the ad. Looks more like a 20"/21" frame.

It appears the seller is talking about tires size not frame size.
But I think he is still wrong as both those bikes used 27" wheels, not 26".

Orange County/LA - like vintage 3-speeds? Price is right, pic is fairly small, but ... a Schwinn Breeze for $60, a Marfield for $100, look to be in quite good shape ...

That had ad caught my eye, and I was surprised to see it mentioned here on BF. You guys are don't miss a beat! Those bikes came with 27" wheels. The frame sizes should have been included, but how many people are aware of frames sizes beyond "small" or "big"? The bikes (3) are about 50 miles north of NYC. Apparently they need a little TLC, but what used mechanical device doesn't?

Arrrgh, I'm gnashing my teeth over not being able to afford these right now, just too many pending projects I have to save my fun money for at the moment; no biggie but the seller is asking $170.
Iowegian, where in Iowa? Two of my adult children live in Boulder and my wife's an Urbandale girl...tall corn and beautiful women.

Small frame Shogun and Panasonic Sport 500, advertised for $40 (each? both?) on Chicago CL
There's a guy who makes single speeds in the same suburb, so if you want these, you better beat him to the punch! Otherwise I suspect it won't be long before they are relisted for $250 each with redished wheels and colorful handlebar tape.
